Funny thing, but I noticed a few months ago that my site was throwing a syntax error when trying to bring up any page. I wasn't too worried about it, thinking that it was some upgrade Dreamhost had done on my hosting server; I'd have to create a trouble ticket and get it resolved. I was wrong, I'd been hacked!

It turns out that my Drupal 5.1 site had been hacked by some bizarro script doodad (see here for more info). The web site talked about running a Wordpress plugin to scan your website, but I chose to just upgrade my Drupal site to 5.1.8. That seems to have cleared it up. I wonder how I was hacked.
